Windows 2008 has improved terminal server functionality, but by how much compared to Citrix is the question. Hope this link answers that question

For you server admins, I know there’s a couple of tools out there for controling multiple RDP connections. My favorate though is Royal TS. I’ve used it for 2 months now and I’ve had no issues so far.
