Oh Windows why do you only support 4GBs !!WHY!!

Vista now supports 4GB of memory with SP1, or so you think.  Check out these nice graphic friendly articles on why that is not true.

    Normally at 8GB you would be looking at server based hardware. I personally have not see a power user use that much RAM. Software wiseHar, the OS has to support PAE or be 64bit. Hardware-wise, just make sure the motherboard supports more than 4GB.
